The big myth about Panama is how cheap it is to live here. The truth is you can live better in Panama, probably for less, but how much less depends on where you are coming from. If you live in an area of the country/world where everyone wants to live, Southern California, Seattle, Bay Area, Boston, New York Metro, London, Riviera, etc., you are going to find Panama to cost a lot less for most things. But if you live in some parts of the US and world, not mentioning any names, where folks don’t especially want to live and the cost of living is less than the rest of the country, you may find Panama costs about the same, or for some things even more. It just depends! Hard and fast rules, or gross statements are generally misleading.
So what does housing cost in Panama?
